We are Jules and Alex. We enhance your garden landscape through the construction of boutique elegant dry stone walls, retaining walls and features using traditional techniques in the Canberra region.

Both of us have been walling since 2023 when we dipped our toes into the craft, learning from DSWA Master Craftswoman Emma Knowles. Jules is a Level 2 Certified waller with the Dry Stone Walling Association (DSWA) UK, Alex left his career in IT to pursue his passion of traditional crafts.

lunky (n): A hole in the base of a wall to allow passage of sheep and small wildlife while forming a barrier for cattle.
stile (n): An arrangement of steps, rungs, or a gap in a wall, to allow passage over or through a fence to one person at a time, while excluding sheep and cattle.

In March 2025 we placed 1st and 3rd in the inaugural Australian walling competition at Stone of Arc dry stone training centre in Wellington, NSW. This competition pushed our limits in speed and quality to race other wallers in construction of a short wall stint.

Oir hope is to bring the traditional craft of dry stone walls to Canberra through the construction of beautiful walls.
